“Vote NO on HR 1808, the Radical Gun Grab“

Petition to my U.S. Representative and Senators

Whereas: The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution states that “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed”; and
Whereas: Radical anti-gun groups are pushing hard to exploit the tragedy in Uvalde, Texas to implement gun control policies they’ve demanded for decades; and
Whereas: Criminals ignore the law, but so-called “assault weapons” bans deprive law-abiding gun owners of their ability to defend themselves; and
Whereas: The definition of “assault weapon” in HR 1808 is so expansive as to ban hundreds of types of the most popular rifles in America;
Therefore: I call upon you to vote “NO!” on HR 1808, and oppose all assaults on the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
