Sign the petition to “Stop H.R. 1/S. 1 – The Legalized Election Theft Bill!”

 

I AGREE! This would be the Federal Government’s foot in the door to control our election process at the state level, which is unconstitutional.

States should not be forced to adopt election practices that are fraught with opportunities for fraud, like mail-in voting!

We cannot accept any more manipulation of our elections, especially by the political class in Washington D.C.!

Petition to my U.S. Representative and Senators

Whereas: H.R. 1/S. 1 would nationalize elections in a way that was never intended by the framers of our Constitution who knew how important it was to have decentralized elections to ensure local control over the process; and
Whereas: H.R. 1/S. 1 would prevent state governments from clearing out the names of deceased and non-resident voters who no longer live in their state; and
Whereas: This bill would give the FEC broad and sweeping powers to regulate what is said about candidates for office within 4 months of an election, effectively wiping out the ability of organizations like this one to criticize the political class; and
Whereas: This bill would make much of the questionable election practices from 2020 like mail-in voting, early voting, and day-of-election voter registration mandatory for states who are opposed to such practices;
Therefore: I demand that you oppose H.R. 1/S. 1 and any other effort to federalize elections or force questionable election practices on states who are not constitutionally bound to do so!
