I am writing to insist your administration fight any legal attempts to force the IRS to start collecting private donor information – even if that means fighting this all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court!
The Attorneys General of both New York and New Jersey recently launched schemes to sue your IRS in federal court, DEMANDING the IRS force organizations like Campaign for Liberty to hand over their private donor information.
If schemes like those aren’t stopped, many liberty-loving Americans could silence themselves for fear of becoming targets of political “retribution.
Therefore, I insist you oppose any attempts to force the IRS to start collecting private donor information – if necessary fighting all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Whereas: | As a 501(c)(4) organization under IRS code, all Campaign for Liberty contributor information is supposed to be confidential; and |

Whereas: | With statist forces becoming increasingly authoritarian and resorting to bullying to get their way, protecting privacy has never been more important; and |
