Declaration of Opposition!

Stop the National Popular Vote Scheme

I,_______(SIGN ABOVE)_______, hereby strongly declare my opposition to the National Popular Vote scheme.

Electing the U.S. President by popular vote would erode the federalist principles enshrined in our Constitution by the Founding Fathers and replace it with tyranny of the majority, where rural Americans from smaller states find themselves ruled by urban, coastal elites.

This would destroy the last vestiges of the American republic and radically change the structure of our government into little more than a direct democracy.

Efforts to undermine – or abolish – the Electoral College are little more than an attempt to limit the voting power of pro-liberty individuals who still champion the values that made America great in the first place.
