Food Freedom Petition to:
My U.S. Representative
Congress never passed a law banning the sale, or interstate transfer, of unpasteurized (raw) milk and dairy products; and
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) claims the regulatory authority to unilaterally ban the interstate sale of unpasteurized milk and dairy products; and
The FDA has been conducting undercover investigations, sting operations, and armed raids of small farms and retail establishments for the “crime” of selling unpasteurized milk and dairy products to willing consumers; and
The FDA’s unilateral ban on the interstate sale of unpasteurized milk and dairy products is a perversion of the interstate commerce clause by prohibiting commerce between two states where the said commerce would otherwise be lawful; and
In a free society, as long as they’re not harming anyone else, individuals should be free to eat, drink, or otherwise put into their bodies whatever they choose;
I urge you to ensure that Congress properly exercise its constitutional authority under the interstate commerce clause to allow the sale, or interstate transfer, of unpasteurized (raw) milk and dairy products by immediately cosponsoring, seeking roll call votes on, and otherwise supporting Rep. Thomas Massie’s H.R. 4307, the Milk Freedom Act, and H.R. 4308, the Interstate Milk Freedom Act.
