| Whereas: | The majorities in the U.S. Congress today were elected promising to change the status quo in Washington, D.C.; and |
| Whereas: | For seven years, Republicans have campaigned on repealing ObamaCare — yet have delivered nothing; and |
| Whereas: | President Trump made clear his support for Audit the Fed during the 2016 presidential race, yet the bill has yet to receive a full vote in the House — despite C4L members succeeding in passing it through House Committee; and |
| Whereas: | The new congressional majorities have promised fundamental tax reform, but current discussions are primarily only about shifting taxes from one group of Americans to the next; and |
| Whereas: | Members of BOTH parties continue to mouth support for fiscal responsibility, yet our national debt has just soared past $20 TRILLION; |
